Small Cup lingerie
Velvet Gold is a beautiful independent female owned lingerie brand that specialises in small-cup bras. Focusing on sustainability, all of the gorgeous lingerie is made from repurposed fabrics. They are also made ethically; manufactured by us in the UK on a made-to-order basis. Velvet Gold’s mission is to empower smaller petite women who struggle to find delicate and feminine small cup bras. For this collection, I was responsible for the design process, sourcing, patterns, grading and finally the manufacturing of these garments in house in which we made over 200 pieces.
Second Collection
Semi-bespoke styles
Since launching their first collection they have launched a second Semi- Bespoke collection. These are customisable lace and satin bralettes which are handmade in the uk. These allow the customer to create stunning one of a kind pieces to wear for any occasion.
Inspiration
Sketches, CADs, Techpacks
Initial Sketches and technical development. Full cads created and tech packs ready for manufacturing in house. Content created for the look book for customers to order bespoke colours and see all combinations.
Features
Velvet gold was featured in Tatler, the sustainable discovery event and had a pop up at the Lone Design Club in Westfield London, they also appeared on the Durham Charity Fashion Show. Along with this they partnered with Coppa Feel to spread awareness of breast cancer.
